Jill Stein for president

Greenville Greens expressing ourselves, earlier today in downtown Greenville.

Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein is attempting to raise $16,000 by midnight tonight.

Compared to Barack Obama's one billion dollars (the highest amount that any presidential candidate has ever raised) and Romney's $881 million (and climbing rapidly), it seems like a mere pittance, doesn't it?

So if you have a few bucks, send it Jill's way.

I don't, but I figure this is one way I can help.

As i mentioned on your FB post, I was matched w/ Jill in an online survey of the issues that I took a few weeks ago. But then one of your friends said that they won't vote for her b/c they are afraid of what happened when Ralph Nader ran and bumped off Gore. Could that happen?

Not here. Is your state certifiably red or blue? If its a done deal and your state will definitely go one way or the other, your vote is likely okay. But if you might consider "vote trading" since you have a lot of friends in other states.

Vote trading: if you are in a swing state, you trade with someone and they vote third-party, so you can vote for Obama with no worries. If they are in the swing state, you vote third party and they can vote for Obama.

"Vote trading" first started in the Nader election, if I recall correctly.
