Leave That Trouble Alone

Good Morning! I must toil further in the fields of capitalist holiday retail-season insanity today, but I will leave the rest of you with this nice homily for Dead Air Church!

Warning: these women look like real women, not like MTV, BET or CMT women. I know, it might be a shock to your system, but how refreshing! :)

I loved it, but being me, for all the wrong reasons. Being a double bass playing anytime you can get a double bass play who LOOKS like they are enjoying themselves and not thinking "Shit, what key/page are we on?" is kinda fun/unusual. And that guy really pounds his bottom string (though that five finger combo he does is pretty good too) - and I totally saw that fret check (You touch up to the fret to make sure your hand hasn't drifted down too far) - I actually just played the parts when the camera was on him several times. Darn, I miss playing Bass this time of year, all those old Xmas hymns have kick-ass bass lines.

Great clip and beautiful song! By the way, I welcome any opportunity to see "real women" because it IS such a rarity nowadays! ;P
